jeff knoblauch
author : jeff knoblauch I was born and raised in Missouri (Miz-ur-ee not Miz-ur-ah). About the most ‘middle’ of the Midwest as you can get. I have worked for over 25 years at a children’s hospital in the laboratory as a toxicology chemist. Science had always fascinated me. I watched A LOT of Sci-Fi on the television (Star Trek included as one of my faves) as a kid. This progressed into reading LOTS and LOTS of books. My favorite authors of the time were Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clark, and Isaac Asimov. As I became older, my love of science collided with my love of Sci-Fi and affected my world views. \n\n\tI always wanted to write a book. For a long time I thought that would be a Star Trek novel. Then I thought perhaps some kind of autobiographical book (I grew up in a large family and that has A LOT of stories for at LEAST one book). After flailing for a number of years, I may have stumbled onto my niche. Combining my love of science and my love for Sci-Fi, I found a comfortable flow of ideas and stories that I enjoy and I hope you will too.\n\n\tMany of the scientific elements of my stories are taken from science that is already happening, or are about to happen. Go ahead and check out some of the things I mention in the story and your head will expand a little. It is this expanding of the brain combined with a kind of social commentary is what you can expect from my future writings. So, climb on board. Travel to a new world with me. Discover what science and clever humans can wring out of the universe. But will they ever have the wisdom….. I wonder.\n View more >>jeff knoblauch Book Series
